Russian roulette game 2 player

A russian roulette game 2 player round is a duel on one phone. You and one friend take turns on the same cylinder. A bang knocks that player out and the other wins. There is no real gun.

Set the duel

Set the roster to 2. Type both names. Tap Start game.

The phone chooses who pulls first. You do not pick the seat to gain an edge. On a two-player cylinder the two seats cover the same number of chambers, so the opening seat is not a prize.

You need no download and no sign-up. One phone is the whole table.

How the turns work

The pass screen fills with one name and that player's colour. Hand them the phone. They tap the button with their name on it.

The turn screen shows the cylinder and the odds for this pull, as 1 in N. The first pull of a fresh cylinder is 1 in 6.

They may spend their Spin first, if they still have one. A spin reloads the live chamber at random and puts the label back to 1 in 6. Then they must pull. Each player gets one Spin per game unless you change that in Settings.

To pull, they press and hold for one second. Let go early and nothing happens. After the hold, the phone counts 3, 2, 1 and shows a click or a bang.

A click means that chamber was empty. That player stays in. Pass the phone to the other player. The cylinder does not reload, so the next pull is 1 in 5, then 1 in 4, and so on.

You trade the phone back and forth until the bang. Then stop.

How a two-player game ends

A bang removes that player. One person is left, so the game goes to the winner screen. There is no second cylinder and no one else to knock out.

The winner screen shows pulls survived, Spins used, and the closest call. Play again keeps the two names and picks a new first player.

A cylinder has six chambers and always ends in a bang by the last one. A duel cannot run past six pulls. Most end sooner, because the live chamber is equally likely to sit in any slot.

The page on the last two players is about that finish, including when a bigger group shrinks down to a pair. Read it for the end of a long game. This page is for when you start as a pair.

A 2 player round online

You can run a 2 player round while you are on a call. One of you shares the screen. The other calls the turn. The person holding the device is the only one who can press the button.

You are not in a remote match. Two browsers mean two cylinders. If you both want a hand on the phone, sit together. The friends page spells out the call version for larger groups too.

A short series

One duel is one bang. If that feels short, play best of three with the same names. Say that before the first game, and count wins out loud. The app crowns each game on its own.

Leave Fair rounds off for a pure duel. With two players you already alternate, and the shared cylinder is the whole point.

Can two people play on one phone?

Yes. Two is the smallest roster. You pass the phone after every click.

Does the first player have worse odds?

On this cylinder, no. The two seats split the six chambers evenly. The label still rises after each click.

How is this different from a game that shrinks to two?

A game that starts at two is a duel from the first pull. A larger game loads a fresh cylinder when it first reaches two. The other page covers that moment.

Can we play a 2 player round from two houses?

Only by sharing one screen. The second person calls the turn. They do not open a second copy of the game.
