Safe russian roulette game

A safe russian roulette game is this phone game. It uses no real gun and puts nobody at physical risk. A pull plays a click or a bang, the screen flashes, and that player is out of the round.

What the game actually does

You tap and hold a button. The phone waits one second, counts 3, 2, 1, and then picks a result that was fixed when the cylinder loaded.

A click is a dry sound. You stay in. A bang is a louder sound, a short flash, and a card that goes dark. Most phones vibrate. Nothing on screen is graphic.

The player who gets the bang is out of the round. They are still in the room. They hand the phone on and wait for the next game, or they take a forfeit the group agreed.

The cylinder is a number in the browser. Six chambers, one of them live, unless seven or eight players are still in, in which case there is one chamber per player and still one live chamber. You never see a weapon. You see odds, a name, and a result.

What "safe" means here

There is no projectile, no powder, and no object to point at anyone. These pages do not describe a real firearm, and the game does not teach one.

The risk people feel is the wait. The heartbeat speeds up, the count runs, and then the result lands. That tension is the toy. It is not a stand-in for harm.

You can refuse a turn. You can leave the roster. The phone does not punish either choice. A party works better when everyone asked to be in it.

How to play it without a nasty surprise

Tell the group it is a phone game before you type the names. Say that a bang is a sound and a lost round.

Set the volume first. Mute the game if a loud noise would bother someone in the room. The result still shows on screen, so a silent round is a full round.

Turn vibration off in Settings if a buzz in the hand is too much. Turn on reduced motion if spins and flashes are the problem. The setting can follow the phone, or you can force it on.

If a one-second hold is hard, switch to Tap to pull. The game asks for a tap and then a confirm. Space and S do the same job on a keyboard.

Pass the phone on the pass screen, which has no trigger. The named player pulls their own turn. That keeps the scare, such as it is, attached to the right person.

Play it on the phone you already have. The mobile page covers the browser, the home screen icon, and portrait. You need no download and no sign-up.

A fake gun, on purpose

People search for a fake game because the old story is ugly. This site keeps the hidden chamber and throws away the weapon. The history of the name is on another page. The thing in your hand is a browser.

If you want a non violent round, treat a bang as "out" and nothing else. Skip drinks. Skip dares that single someone out. The last player in still wins, and the loser still gets the next game.

Is there a real gun in this game?

No. A pull plays a click or a bang. The phone may vibrate. There is no gun on this site.

Can someone get hurt?

Not by the game. The result is a sound, a flash, and a name leaving the round. Agree the volume before you start.

Why does it still say bang?

Because that is the word for the live chamber in this toy. The screen goes dark for that player. It does not show an injury.

Can we play with the sound off?

Yes. Mute it from the home screen, the pause menu, or Settings. Every sound has a visual cue.
