Russian roulette game mobile

This russian roulette game mobile page is the same game in your phone browser. It runs on Android and iPhone. You do not install it from an app store. There is no real gun.

A browser game, not an app

Open the site in the browser you already use. Chrome and Safari both load it. So does any other current phone browser.

There is no store listing, no install size, and no account. You need no download and no sign-up.

The first visit saves the game for later. After that, the same phone can open a round even if the signal drops. A refresh mid-game resumes the cylinder for that tab.

A desktop browser can run the roster too. The layout is a single column. The game still expects you to pass a phone, so a laptop is a poor table unless you are sharing that screen on a call.

Add it to the home screen

You can keep an icon on the phone without an app store.

On iPhone, open the site in Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The icon label is Russian Roulette. Tap it later and the site opens on its own, without the browser toolbar.

On Android, open the site in Chrome. Use the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen, or Install app if Chrome offers it. The home screen name from the site manifest is Roulette. The icon opens the game full screen.

The icon is a shortcut to this site. It is not a second copy of the game, and it does not add a lobby.

Portrait and landscape

Hold the phone upright. The pass card, the cylinder, and the hold button are laid out for a tall screen.

Turn a phone sideways and the game asks you to rotate. That gate shows on a short landscape screen with a touch pointer, which is a phone in landscape. Turn it back to portrait and the gate goes away.

A tablet or a desktop window in landscape does not hit that gate. You get the same column, centred. You can still play, and you should still pass one device.

The manifest asks for portrait when the site is opened from the home screen icon. If you added the icon and the phone is sideways, rotate it before the first pull.

Sound, vibration, and one hand

The bang is the loud part. Check the ringer before you play in a quiet room. The speaker control on the home screen, the pause menu, and Settings all mute the game, and the choice sticks.

Most phones vibrate on the result. A device with no vibration motor still shows the click or the bang on screen.

The default pull is a one-second hold. If that is awkward on a small phone, turn on Tap to pull in Settings. The game then asks for a tap and a confirm. The safe version of the same rules explains what the phone is pretending to do, and what it never does.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

No. Play in the phone browser. You can add an icon to the home screen, and that icon still opens the site.

Which way do I hold the phone?

Portrait. A phone in landscape asks you to rotate. A tablet can stay sideways and show the column in the middle.

Does it work offline?

Yes, after the first visit. A refresh in the same tab resumes the current cylinder.

Can two phones play together?

No. One phone is the game. Pass it, or share its screen. A second phone starts a different cylinder.
